General conditions Visio Translator

1. Purpose and acceptance

These conditions only concern Visio Translator, operated by Riviera Media, at the contact details in the legal notices. They cover trials, recharges, packs and videoconferencing subscriptions with translation. AudioPhone services and accessories are subject to their own conditions. The customer accepts these conditions and the amount displayed before paying. He must be of legal age or have the necessary capacity and authorizations.

2. Operation and hardware

The organizer creates a conversation and invites his interlocutors by link or QR code. Each participant chooses their language and uses their browser, camera, microphone and sufficient Internet connection. The floor is given to the first participant who holds the button provided for this purpose; the exchanges take turns. Headphones are recommended to limit echoes. The number of people, languages ​​and functions accessible depend on the plan purchased.

3. Automatic translation

Translations and transcriptions are produced automatically and may contain errors, delays or omissions. They do not constitute a certified interpretation. For a medical, legal, financial or security decision, participants should verify the meaning with a competent professional. Riviera Media does not guarantee absolute accuracy or the availability of each voice at all times.

4. Test and counting

The free trial lasts for the time announced before activation, without payment, after confirmation of the email address. Subscription to the newsletter remains optional and requires a separate box. It is limited to one trial per network over thirty days; several users on the same network can share this limit. Minutes are counted for the entire conversation when it is started and the organizer and at least one guest are connected. The organizer can pause it. Alerts are planned for one minute and thirty seconds from the end. When exhausted, the conversation must be recharged to resume.

5. Price and payment

Prices are displayed in euros; the final amount and possible frequency are indicated before payment. PayPal processes the payment. Minutes are allocated only after payment is confirmed by the server, once per transaction. A simple approval or return to the site does not constitute confirmation. Per-minute recharge, packs and subscriptions are separate offers: their respective prices are those displayed for the chosen offer.

6. Packs and subscriptions

Packs without subscription are valid for twelve months from confirmed payment. Subscriptions are automatically renewed each month by PayPal until canceled. Cancellation is accessible in the conversation from My account then Manage my subscription, and in PayPal; it stops future installments, without canceling the period already paid. A declined payment may suspend credit for the following month.

Unused monthly time expires when due, except for Pro and Business, where each credit can be used until the end of the next monthly period. The postponement does not extend the minutes indefinitely. Camera and language limits as well as transcription and recording are those of the paid plan. Credits are attached to the conversation: they do not constitute a general wallet transferable to all conversations.

7. Access and invitations

Keep your organizer link: it gives the controls and access to purchases for your conversation. The invitation link is intended for selected participants only. The accesses recorded in My Account depend on the browser used; their deletion can cause this history to be lost. Sharing a private link allows its recipient to use the rights it contains. Contact support in case of loss or disclosure.

8. Transcription and recording

These functions are only available in plans that include them. Recording is optional, triggered by the organizer and subject to the agreement of all connected participants. Each participant can withdraw their consent. The organizer must inform the participants of the purpose and the planned sharing. The file contains the mosaic and the sound heard in their language and is downloaded to their device. It is up to him to preserve and protect this file. Keeping the page open is necessary; an interrupted browser may prevent it from finalizing.

9. Eligible use

The Service may not be used for illegal content, harassment, fraud, spoofing or covert recording. Each user remains responsible for the content they communicate and the necessary rights. Access may be limited for serious abuse, a security risk or a legal obligation, taking into account the situation and the rights of the customer.

10. Availability and incidents

The service depends in particular on the browser, the connection, LiveKit for the video and Microsoft Azure for the translation. Maintenance and interruptions remain possible. Report an incident to support with its date, payment reference and useful information, without communicating sensitive data. After examination, unavailability attributable to the service may lead to reinstatement, recredit, extension or, where required by contract or law, a proportionate refund. Failures of the customer's device or connection do not automatically qualify for a refund.

11. Cancellation and mandatory rights

For a professional customer, confirmed orders are firm; no cancellation for convenience is provided, subject to a breach by the service provider or the applicable mandatory rights. If the customer is a consumer, his legal rights remain applicable, in particular the withdrawal period of fourteen days when the law provides for it. Purchasing minutes alone does not remove this right. Early execution requires an express request and the loss of the right for a fully executed service requires the corresponding legal conditions.

A withdrawal request can be sent to contact@rivieramedias.com with the customer's name, reference and date of purchase, and a clear declaration of withdrawal. The legal guarantees applicable to digital services are not excluded.

12. Responsibility

Riviera Media is responsible for its obligations according to applicable law. For professional customers, excluding gross negligence or willful misconduct and excluding liability which cannot legally be limited, compensation for proven direct damage is limited to the price of the service concerned; indirect losses are excluded to the extent permitted by law. This clause does not exclude the essential obligation of the service, the legal guarantees or the imperative rights of consumers. No ceiling applies where it would be prohibited by law.

13. Data and affiliation

Data processing is described in the Visio Translator privacy policy. The newsletter is optional and requires separate confirmation. The affiliation uses the partners and settings of the common AudioPhone program: a code can be indicated voluntarily, or stored on this domain with the monitoring agreement. Commissions are estimated on confirmed payments, subject to refunds and verifications; no payment is automatic.

14. Applicable law and complaints

The contract is subject to French law. Users accept this choice, without being deprived of the mandatory protections they benefit from in their country or the mandatory rules of competence. Complaints are addressed to contact@rivieramedias.com. In the absence of an amicable solution, the competent jurisdiction is determined according to the applicable rules.
